Upholstered Furniture Warranty

At Amet Furnishings, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our furniture. The following warranty applies to products used under normal residential conditions and maintained in accordance with our care instructions.

Frame Warranty

The internal wooden frame of all upholstered sofas is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase.

For all other upholstered products, including armchairs, ottomans, benches, and headboards, a 1-year warranty applies to the frame and workmanship from the date of invoice.

Stitching & Workmanship

Stitching and upholstery workmanship are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase.

Springs & Webbing

Springs and webbing systems are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase.

This warranty applies to faulty materials or workmanship and does not cover loss of comfort, sagging, or wear resulting from normal use, excessive use, misuse, or abuse.

Foam & Fibre Fillings

Foam and fibre fillings are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase.

All foam and fibre fillings will naturally soften and settle over time. Variations in firmness, settling, compression, and comfort levels resulting from normal use are not considered defects and are therefore not covered by this warranty.

Fabric & Leather

Fabric and leather coverings are not covered under warranty against fading, pilling, stretching, dye lot variations, shading differences, staining, or general wear and tear.

Natural variations in colour, texture, grain, and appearance are characteristics of upholstery materials and shall not be regarded as defects.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from:

·       Normal wear and tear.

·       Negligence, misuse, abuse, or improper maintenance.

·       Failure to follow Amet Furnishings' care instructions.

·       Exposure to direct sunlight, excessive heat, moisture, humidity, water, or coastal conditions.

·       Ink, paint, dyes, chemicals, solvents, oils, food, beverages, or body fluids.

·       Pet damage, insect damage, or accidental damage.

·       Sitting, standing, jumping, or sleeping on furniture not designed for such use.

·       Commercial, hospitality, rental, office, or institutional use unless expressly agreed in writing.

Warranty Conditions

The warranty will be honoured provided that:

·       The defect is the result of a manufacturing fault.

·       The defect occurred within the applicable warranty period.

·       The product has been used for its intended purpose in a normal residential environment.

·       Care and maintenance instructions have been followed.

·       Proof of purchase is provided.

​

Amet Furnishings reserves the right to inspect, repair, replace, or substitute any component or product covered by this warranty at its sole discretion.
